What is the most important thing for writers? It is the possibility to write without obstacles and restrictions about all themes, which are interesting for them, which worry them, and which they want to present to other people. It is possible to say that it is the sense of the writer’s activity and life in general. The freedom of writing is vital and essential for writers, for all writers. But there are many cases when the freedom of writing is limited by different bodies.
In the sphere of literature, such limitation of the freedom of writing is not very obvious. It can happen to those writers who are connected with certain official organizations and if their works should correspond to the policy of the organization. For writers who are considered as independent writers, limitation of the freedom of writing is not a problem, because they don’t face with it. Independent writers enjoy the freedom of writing and use it to the maximum. And their readers appreciate it by means of reading their works.
From other side, limitation of writing freedom is well-known for writers who work in the sphere of journalism. If you write articles for newspapers and magazines, it is great if you have the possibility to write truthful articles without changing fats. Today people have many doubts concerning truthfulness of the information presented in printed mass media. And it is possible o find many examples about journalists’ fight against limitation of the freedom of writing. So, the first goal for writers is to save and defend their freedom of writing.
